PRESENTATION:  DOMAINE JEANDEAU

2001, we began our organic conversion.

The "Domaine JEANDEAU"
at the centre of the horse-shoe formed by Fuissé.

Domaine   Jeandeau  has  been in  our  family  for  five
generation,  and  stands out in its privileged position at
the heart of an amphitheatre of argilo chalk hills.
In  1900,  great grandfather, Jean-Baptiste, bought the
      first plots.
1925, saw the arrived, of  "Clos des Prouges" two Ha,
      acquired by grandfather Claudius.
Then   in   1953 ,  Sylvains'  mother,  Irène ,  had   the
      Gloriette built, the Domaines' emblem.

An exceptional location: Le Clos des Prouges

Until 1991, all of the properties' wines were bought
         by wine merchants.
In  1992,  Irenes'son  Sylvain,  together   with  his
wife Madeleine, founded the "Domaine Jeandeau"
, and  saw  their  first  bottling  of  wines  on  their
property. In 2000, their son  Denis,    qualified in
viticulture  and   oenology,  carry  out   his   first
         pruning.
Respecful   of  his inheritance,  Denis  works  in
harmony with  nature to  preserve  the  idea of "
         terroir".

2001, Denis began the organic conversion.

Some of the vineyards date back as far as 75 years.
