PRESS REVIEW FOR DOMAINE JEANDEAU

Le Journal de Saône et Loire

                                                                         from the  25 April 2002

Traditional methods to produce

             the good wine of tomorrow.

Denis  Jeandeau,  young  wine-maker  in  Fuissé,
defends his ecological convictions.
It's  only  natural   therefore that  he  decided  to  transform  his  family  property into "BIO".
At  25  years of age, he isn't a novice in the field.
Holder  of  a  BTA  and a  BTS  in  viticulture gained
at  the  viticulture  college  in  Davayé, France, he as
also   worked  in  vineyards  in  Chili ,  Portugal , and
Switzerland to gain experience...
He is also passionate about biodynamics.
This science, follows the cycle of the moon,  which determins  when  the  soil   should  be  worked  upon.
A  system  that  presents  far  more problems  far the
wine-maker than classic methods.
Courageously, Denis has decided to work the soil
using horses.
A  technique   worthy  of  our  grand-parents ,  which
respects  the land.

Pale  yellow  with  green  tints. The  bouquet  has  green  apple,
white  peach  and lemon  aromas, enhanced  by  notes  of cedar
      and almond.
In the mouth, it is full, rich, vigourous with a pronounced acidity.
Its finish is long with mineral over tones.
A beautiful  fruit and mineral extraction  for this elegant wine
      which combines richness with vivacity.
      Expresses wonderfully the appellation. 17/20

      Pouilly-Fuissé Prestige 1998
Golden yellow colour, slightly intense with green tints.
Generous bouquet and lightly smoked with aromas of pineapple
      and ripe apricots.
In the mouth, it is generous and full. The minerals  flowours are
well balanced. And the finish is long and fresh.
At  present, this wine is austere, but its true harmony and great
elegance will be revealed in a few years
      A wonderful discovery.  18/20

La Revue du Vin de France

Pouilly-Fuissé 1996

A beautiful  goldengreen,  this  wine  develops a  fresh
bouquet  of acacia  flowers and the vine.
In  the  mouth,  it  shows  itself as  lively and dry , with
overtones  of  citrus fruit with a pleasant richness that
comes from the alcohol which is very much  present.

To be drunk with rich food.
